My Gmail Address Book widget

What can this widget do:

- Like the old Address Book widget it can store your contacts.
- You are now being able to write mails and store them until there is a wifi connection and send the mails all at once or just a single one.
- One very needed feature is to backup your address book by sending the data to your gmail account as a mail. It can then be restored by uploading a simple textfile some where.
- The contact list is sorted in alphabetic order when the widget starts.
- You can write a simple note and send it to your gmail account.
- On startup when a wifi connection is available your gmail account is checked on new mails and if there are they will be downloaded.

Maurice my most favourite widget of all time has broken
It will no longer log onto my account and keeps asking for logon detail.When I enter them it just locks up. A complete reboot brings up old emails I suspect that a cache clean out will sort it out but I will lose my favourites - I know I should be using the other widget but I havent got around to setting it up yet

Any advice or is it a cache clear out or reload the widget job?

Unfortunatly google has changed something. Now the login doesn't work anymore. I will take a look into that and hope it can be solved.

Unfortunately google has changed the way the authentication tokens are handled. I am sorry to say that at the moment I don't have a solution for this except rewriting the entire code. This was something I expected when writing this widget and it has worked nice for the time being.
My motivation on rewriting is a bit low and that has a couple of reasons.
1) If google will change anything, then I probably get to start over from scatch again. This is because there is no proper API available for Gmail, like there is for youtube, picassa etc.
2) I personally don't use it anymore, because I got a blackberry which I can use to check my mails. Much more convenient.

So sorry, but if someone wants to take on the challenge I am willing to help.
